## GATE 2025 Examination: Key Information

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) is set to conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 examination. This exam is for admission to M.Tech and other postgraduate programs at IITs and other government engineering colleges across India. The examination schedule for GATE 2025 is now available, and the admit card link has been uploaded. The examination will be held in two shifts. ### Application Fee
**Phase I**
* General / OBC: Rs. 1800/-
* SC / ST / PH: Rs. 900/-
* All Category Female: Rs. 900/-
**Phase II (With Late Fee)**
* General / OBC: Rs. 2,300/-
* SC / ST / PH: Rs. 1,400/-
* All Category Female: Rs. 1400/-
Candidates must pay the examination fee through the following methods: IIT College Prepaid Coupon, Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
### GATE 2025: Age Limit
There is no age limit for the GATE 2025 Exam.
### GATE 2025: Examination Details
#### Photo Instructions
Candidates must provide a good quality, recent passport-size color photograph with a white background. The candidate's face should occupy at least 75% of the photograph. For more information, visit [PSC Notes](https://pscnotes.com).
#### Thumb Impression Instructions
Candidates must draw a rectangular box, 3 cm x 5 cm, on an A4-sized paper. Then, they must mark their left thumb impression within the drawn box.
#### Signature Instructions
Candidates must draw a rectangular box, 2 cm x 7 cm, on an A4-sized paper. Then, they must sign within the drawn box using a black or blue pen in running handwriting.
### GATE 2025: Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed or be appearing for one of the following degrees: B.E / B.Tech / B.Pharm / B.Arch / B.Sc. Research / B.S. M.Sc. / MA / MCA / M.E. / M.Tech / Dual Degree / Integrated Courses. Further information on eligibility criteria is available on [PSC Notes](https://pscnotes.com).
### GATE 2025: Mode of Selection
The selection process will be based on an online examination.

2. Click on the link to access the IIT GATE 2025 Admit Card download page.
3. On the Exam Schedule page, verify your Exam Date, Timing, and Paper Code.
4. To download the admit card, you will be redirected to a login page.
5. Provide the following details:
* Registration Number
* Password/Date of Birth
6. Click the ‘Login’ icon.
