The Central Bank of India has announced a recruitment drive for 266 Zone-Based Officer (ZBO) positions in Junior Management Grade Scale I (Mainstream) on a regular basis. The application window is open from January 21, 2025, to February 9, 2025.

Vacancy Distribution:
The 266 vacancies are distributed across four zones as follows:
- Ahmedabad Zone: 123 posts
- Chennai Zone: 58 posts
- Guwahati Zone: 43 posts
- Hyderabad Zone: 42 posts
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. This includes Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) holders, as well as qualifications in fields like Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountancy, and Cost Accounting.
- Age Limit: Applicants should be between 21 and 32 years old as of November 30, 2024, meaning they must have been born between December 1, 1992, and November 30, 2003.
Selection Process:
The selection process comprises two stages:
- Online Written Examination: This test will consist of 120 questions, each carrying one mark, with a total duration of 80 minutes.
- Interview: The interview will account for 30% of the total score, while the written test will account for 70%. A merit list will be prepared based on the candidates’ scores in the online test, organized zone-wise and category-wise.
