Out of total vacancies, 38, 8, 22, 10 and 2 are reserved for Unreserved, Economically Weaker Section, Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer), Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes, respectively.
Apply Date
The link to apply for the ECIL GET Recruitment 2025 was activated on the official website at https://ecil.co.in/ on May 16, 2025, 02:00 pm with the release of the advertisement. It is going to remain active till June 05, 2025, 02:00 pm. Individuals who meet the certain eligibility criterias are requested to apply in the initial stage to avoid the last minute rush.
Who Can Apply?
Individuals interested in being appointed as GET for any stream under the ECIL are required to go through the listed points to check if they are eligible to apply or not.
- One must have pursued full-time BE or BTech in the respective discipline with 60% aggregate score from an institution recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education.
- For the SC and ST category candidates, the minimum requirement is only 50% score as aggregate.
- The candidate must have turned at least 21 years, the upper age limit is 27 years as of April 30, 2025, with applicable relaxation for 3 years for OBC-NCL, and 5 years for SC and ST.
Individuals who belong to Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) may obtain the benefits of 10 years additional upper age relaxation.
Recruitment Fee
To apply for the recruitment of the GET under the ECIL will have to pay the application fee of non-refundable fee of ₹1,000/- using the SBI Collect, which is accessible by visiting the URL (https://www.onlinesbi.sbi/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm?corpID=20904). One who belongs to SC, ST, Ex-SM or PwBD are exempted from its payment.
Selection Method
It consists of a total of two stages, which are Computer-Based Test and Personal Interview. The first stage will be followed by the second, and the final selection list will be prepared based on the performance in the CBT and PI with weightage of 85:15.
The minimum qualifying for the CBT and PI is 50% individually and 60% as aggregate, learn all about each stage from the below.
- CBT: It will be held in six cities: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, New Delhi and Kolkata. There will be a total number of 100 MCQs of each 1 mark, each exam taker will have a maximum time duration of 02 hours to touch all questions. Incase of the incorrect response 0.25 mark will be deducted, and the medium of the exam is going to be English and Hindi.
- PI: Candidates who will clear the CBT will be called for the PI, it will be only held at Hyderabad. Before the PI, the Document Verification will take place, in which one has to carry original and two xerox of each of following:
- Application form
- Interview call letter
- 10th certificate (for birth date)
- ID proof (Aadhar, PAN, etc.)
- Caste or category certificate (if needed)
- NOC (if working in govt/PSU)
- Fee payment proof (if paid)
- Marksheets and degree
- CGPA proof (if marks are in CGPA)
- J&K or disability certificate (if it applies to you)
The date for the CBT and PI will be announced soon, the CBT may be held in Q3 of 2025. The hall ticket for each stage of the selection process won’t be received via post, it will be made public on the web portal and aspirants will have to download it to make a print copy to carry it to the venue with a photo ID card.
Salary & Bond
One who will be appointed as GET under the ECIL will get a monthly salary range from ₹40,000 to ₹1,40,000 with additional benefits. Before appointment, the shortlisted candidates will have to execute a Surety & Indemnity Bond of ₹4,00,000 on non-judicial stamp paper of ₹100 to work with the organization for at least four years.
