The application form for the DRDO RAC Recruitment 2025 will be released in the first week of July 2025, and then it will remain active for three weeks.

The age of the candidate shouldn’t be below 21 years and above 35 years. The upper age relaxation is applicable for 3 years for OBC-NCL, and 5 years for SC and ST, and there is an additional upper age relaxation for 10 years for PwBD.
Application Fee
To apply for recruitment of Scientific ‘B’ under the Recruitment and Assessment Centre, a male candidate is required to deposit the non-refundable and non-transferable application fee of 100 rupees, if he belongs to UR, OBC or EWS. All female aspirants, and male individuals belonging to SC, ST, and PwBD aren’t required to pay it.
Selection Process
The selection process for the DRDO RAC Recruitment 2025 consists of two stages, which are Shortlisting and PI. Individuals who apply on or before the deadline will be shortlisted based with a ratio of 1:10 for each discipline and category based on the respective paper GATE score, and then shortlisted individuals will be called for the second stage.
The final selection list is going to be prepared based on the GATE Score and Personal Interview with a weightage of 80:20. The minimum passing marks for the PI is 70% for Unreserved, and 60% for other categories.
Pay Scale
A candidate who will be applied as Scientist ‘B’ under the Recruitment and Assessment Centre, DRDO will get the monthly basic pay of ₹56,000 under the Level 10 of 7th Central Pay Commission with additional benefits such as DA, HRA, etc,. The gross monthly salary including allowances is likely to be around ₹1,00,000/- in the metro city.
