AFCAT 01/2026 Recruitment: Educational Qualification
AFCAT Entry – Flying Branch
- Eligibility: Candidates must have mandatorily passed a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream, with Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level, or hold a B.E./B.Tech. degree.
AFCAT Entry – Ground Duty Technical
- Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics):
- Eligibility: Candidates must have mandatorily passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics. Additionally, a minimum of a 4-year Graduation or Integrated PG Degree in Engineering/Technology is required.
- Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical):
- Eligibility: Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level. A 4-year Engineering/Technology Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or an equivalent degree is mandatory.
AFCAT Entry – Ground Duty Non-Technical
- Administration and Logistics:
- Eligibility: Candidates must have mandatorily passed a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with at least a minimum of 60% marks.
- Physical Eligibility: Height: Male – 157.5 cm | Female – 152 cm.
- Accounts:
- Eligibility: Candidates must have mandatorily passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com.) with at least a minimum of 60% marks.
- Physical Eligibility: Height: Male – 157.5 cm | Female – 152 cm.
Meteorology Entry
- Eligibility: Candidates must have mandatorily passed B.Sc. with Physics and Mathematics, securing at least 60% marks.
NCC Special Entry
- Flying Branch:
- Eligibility: Candidates holding an ‘C’ certificate from the NCC Air Wing Senior Division are eligible. Further details are as per the Flying Branch eligibility criteria.
