BPSC Special School Teacher Online Form 2025: Educational Qualification

Special School Teacher (Class 1 to 5)

  • (a) Candidates must have completed Intermediate/Class 12th with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized Indian board. Additionally, they must possess a valid Central Rehabilitation Register (CRR) number issued by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and a D.El.Ed. in Special Education from an RCI-recognized institution. Alternatively, a D.El.Ed. or Diploma in Special Education from an RCI-recognized institution, considered equivalent to D.El.Ed. in Special Education, along with a valid CRR number, is acceptable.
  • (b) Completion of a six-month specialized training course in the field of cross-disability.
  • Successful completion of the Special School Teacher Eligibility Test (BSSTET) 2023, Paper I, is mandatory.

Special School Teacher (Class 6 to 8)

  • (a) Candidates must hold a Graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized Indian university or institute. They must also have a B.Ed. in Special Education from an RCI-recognized institution, along with a valid CRR number issued by the Council. Alternatively, a Certificate or Diploma in Special Education combined with a B.Ed., considered equivalent to a B.Ed. in Special Education from an RCI-recognized institution, along with a valid CRR number, is acceptable.
  • (b) Completion of a six-month specialized training course in the field of cross-disability.
  • Successful completion of the Special School Teacher Eligibility Test (BSSTET) 2023, Paper I, is mandatory.
