Educational Qualification

Candidates must have successfully completed I.Sc. (Biology or Mathematics) or 10+2 with Biology or Mathematics. Additionally, they must possess one of the following qualifications:

  • A 2-year Diploma in Optometry.
  • 2 years of training as an Ophthalmic Assistant from any recognized Government Hospital, in accordance with NPCB (National Programme for Control of Blindness) guidelines.

Candidates must have completed I.Sc. (Biology or Mathematics) or 10+2 with Biology or Mathematics, and hold a 2-year Diploma in Ophthalmic Assistant from an institute recognized by the Government of Bihar (whether Government, Private, or Semi-Government).
