Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria to apply for the undergraduate and postgraduate course under the OJEE 2026 are as follows.

Undergraduate (UG) Courses

It is mandatory that you are Indian citizen and you are domicile of Odisha. Candidates who are applying for the BSc Nursing can claim the age relaxation is 5 years for SEBC, ST and SC. 

The minimum requirement is only 45% score as aggregate for unreserved; for reserved category, it is only 40%.

Application Fee

In order to apply for the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination 2026, it is mandatory that you deposit the application fee. Refer to table below to check what you are required to pay.

Make sure you deposit the application fee by the due date, it is same as the form submission deadline. You may deposit it using the debit card, credit card, NET banking, or any other provided payment gateway.

Exam Pattern 

The OJEE Board will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination in CBT mode, in which objective-type questions will be asked. Refer to table below to check what you have to deposit it.

The exam duration for the UG course is 3 hours, 1 hour for lateral entry, and 2 hours for the PG courses. Each question carries a weightage of 4 marks, and 1 mark is deducted for incorrect response. The medium of the is English and Odia.
