Application Fee

Age Limit for AFCAT 01/2026

  • AFCAT Flying Branch: 20-24 Years
  • Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical): 20-26 Years

Educational Qualifications for AFCAT 01/2026

AFCAT Entry

  • Flying Branch: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream, with Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level, or a B.E./B.Tech degree.
  • Ground Duty (Technical) Branch:
    • Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics): A 10+2 Intermediate with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics, along with a minimum 4-year Graduation or Integrated PG Degree in Engineering/Technology.
    • Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical): Minimum 60% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level, and a 4-year Engineering/Technology Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aeronautical Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
  • Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branch:
    • Administration and Logistics: A Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with at least 60% marks.
      • Physical Eligibility: Height Male: 157.5 CMS | Female: 152 CMS
    • Accounts: A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) with at least 60% marks.
      • Physical Eligibility: Height Male: 157.5 CMS | Female: 152 CMS

Meteorology Entry

  • Meteorology: Candidates must have a B.Sc. degree with Physics and Mathematics, securing at least 60% marks.

NCC Special Entry

  • Flying Branch: Candidates must hold a Senior Division ‘C’ certificate from the NCC Air Wing. Other eligibility criteria are as per the Flying Branch requirements.
