Educational Qualification (AFCAT 01/2026 Recruitment)
AFCAT Entry
- Flying Branch:
- Mandatory Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level, OR
- B.E. / B.Tech. course.
- Ground Duty Technical Branch:
- Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics): Mandatory 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics, and a minimum 4-year Graduation / Integrated PG Degree in Engineering / Technology.
- Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical): Minimum 60% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level, and a 4-year Engineering / Technology Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or an equivalent degree.
- Ground Duty Non-Technical Branch:
- Administration and Logistics: Mandatory Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with at least a minimum of 60% marks.
- Physical Eligibility: Male: 157.5 CMS | Female: 152 CMS
- Accounts: Mandatory Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) with at least a minimum of 60% marks.
- Physical Eligibility: Male: 157.5 CMS | Female: 152 CMS
- Administration and Logistics: Mandatory Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with at least a minimum of 60% marks.
- Meteorology Entry:
- Mandatory B.Sc. with Physics and Mathematics (60% Marks).
NCC Special Entry
- Flying Branch: NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ certificate and other eligibility criteria as per the Flying Branch.
