Educational Qualification
- Medical Assistant Trade:
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 / Intermediate / Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a Board recognized by the Central, State, or UT government. A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English are required.
- OR Candidates who have completed a two-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English) from a recognized Board, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English, are also eligible.
- Medical Assistant Trade (Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy):
- Candidates must possess a Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy.
- They should have passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, achieving a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.
- Additionally, a Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) at the time of enrollment are mandatory requirements.
Physical Eligibility
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
- For candidates up to 21 years of age: 1.6 Km run to be completed within 7 minutes.
- For candidates above 21 years of age and holding Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy: 1.6 Km run to be completed within 7 minutes 30 Seconds.
- Height: Minimum 152.5 cms
- Chest Expansion: Should be well-proportioned and well-developed with a minimum expansion range of 5 cms.
- Hearing: Normal hearing is required, meaning the candidate should be able to hear a forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately.
- Weight: Must be proportionate to height and age as per Indian Air Force standards.
- Dental: Candidates should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and a minimum of 14 dental points.
- Visual Standards:
- 6/36 vision in each eye, correctable to 6/9 in each eye.
- Maximum limit of Refractive Error not exceeding +3.50D, including Astigmatism.
