Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the AP POLYCET 2026, you are required to meet the eligibility requirements. We have listed the details below to check if you are eligible to apply for this entrance exam.
- You are an Indian citizen and you have a domicile certificate from Andhra Pradesh.
- You must have passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) [10th Class] Examination from a CBSE or BSEAP recognized school.
Notes:
- There is no age limit to apply for AP POLYCET 2026; individuals of any age group can apply.
- For candidates belonging to the OC and BC categories, it is mandatory to have at least 35% marks in the SSC/10th Exam. There is no minimum requirement for SC/ST candidates; they can apply even if they have only obtained the qualifying marks.
Application Fee
To apply for the Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test 2026, you will need to submit an application form. The application fee you need to pay depends on your category; the details are provided in the table below.

Exam Pattern
The SBTET, Andhra Pradesh will conduct AP POLYCET 2026 in offline mode, with a total of 120 multiple-choice questions asked from three subjects, the details of which are given in the table below.

Each question asked in this entrance exam will carry one mark. There is no provision for the negative marking, which means that no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
The medium of the entrance exam will be bilingual i.e. English and Telugu, and the time duration to touch all objective-type questions will be only 2 hours.

- Find and click on the option that reads ‘New Registration’ and go to the registration page.
- Fill in your mobile number, email address and other details accurately, complete the registration process.
- After registering, login to access the application form dashboard, and then provide basic and educational qualification details.
- Upload necessary documents with photograph and signature, make sure you attach them in required size and format.
- Make the application fee payment and review your application form, after verifying all details click on the Submit button.
