Notification for UGC NET June 2024 is going to be released officially by the National Testing Agency most probably in February or March 2024 and then application form will be available for four weeks at https://ugcnet.ntaonline.in/.

Candidates who want to participate in the UGC National Eligibility Test for June 2024 Session need to know that the application form will be available by February 2024 and then aspirants will be able to apply. To submit an application, an individual will have to provide valid details, upload documents and pay a fee.

UGC NET Exam Date 2024

Exam date for UGC NET for June 2024 is announced officially by National Testing Agency, it will be held in the Computer Based Test mode with an exam time duration of 03 hours from 10th to 21st June 2024 in two shifts from 09:00 am to 12:00 noon and 03:00 pm to 06:00 pm, reporting time for 1st and 2nd shift is 7:30 am and 1:30 pm, respectively.

UGC NET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for UGC NET June 2024 in terms of educational qualification and age limit is available below, get the details about the same by going through the tabulated data.

Age Limit:

  • Junior Research Fellowship (JRF):
    • The upper age limit is 30 years as of the first day of the examination month.
    • There is a relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD/Third Gender categories.
  • Assistant Professor:
    • No lower or upper age limit.

Educational Qualification:

  • A candidate must have a Master’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized university with at least 55% marks in their qualifying examination, while SC/ST/PWD/OBC-NCL/Third Gender candidates need only. 50% marks.
  • Candidates who are appearing in the final year of their Postgraduate examination are also eligible to apply for UGC NET June 2024.

UGC NET 2024 Application Fee
