Educational Qualifications

Medical Assistant Trade:

Candidates must have passed 10+2 / Intermediate / Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognized board. A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English is required.

Alternatively, candidates with a two-year Vocational Course (with non-vocational subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English) from a recognized board, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English, are also eligible.

Medical Assistant Trade (Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy):

Candidates holding a Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy are eligible. They must have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English. Additionally, a Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy with a minimum of 50% marks and valid registration from the State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) at the time of enrollment is mandatory.

Physical Eligibility Standards

Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
- Up to 21 years of age: 1.6 km run to be completed within 7 minutes.
- Above 21 years of age (holding Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy): 1.6 km run to be completed within 7 minutes 30 seconds.
Height: Minimum 152.5 cms.
Cycling: Candidates should be well-proportioned with a minimum chest expansion of 5 cms.
Hearing: Normal hearing, able to hear a forced whisper from 6 meters with each ear separately.
Weight: Proportionate to height and age, as per IAF standards.
Dental: Healthy gums, good set of teeth, and a minimum of 14 dental points.
Visual Standards:
- 6/36 in each eye, correctable to 6/9 in each eye.
- Maximum refractive error not exceeding +3.50D, including astigmatism.
