ITBP Medical Officer MO Recruitment 2024: Educational Qualification
Super Specialist Medical Officer (Second in Command)
- A graduate degree in Medicine (M.B.B.S.) or equivalent from a recognized university/institution listed in the first schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Must be enrolled in a State Medical Register.
- Completion of compulsory rotating internship.
- Possession of a Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty as specified in Section ‘A’ or Section ‘B’ of Schedule I to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, or equivalent.
- Possession of Doctorate of Medicine (DM) or Magister Chirurguie (M.Ch.) or equivalent, with three years of experience in the Super-Specialty after obtaining the first post-graduate degree. Senior Residency period will be counted towards experience.
- Permanent registration with MCI/NMC/State Medical Council before appointment.
Specialist Medical Officer (Deputy Commandant)
- A recognized medical qualification in the allopathic system of medicines included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule (excluding licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications from Part-II of the third schedule must also meet the conditions in Sub-Section (3) of Section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Permanent registration with MCI/NMC/State Medical Council is mandatory before appointment in any CAPFs & AR.
- Completion of compulsory rotating internship.
- Possession of a Post Graduate (PG) Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty as mentioned in Section ‘A’ or ‘B’ in Schedule-I or equivalent, with one and a half years of experience after obtaining the PG Degree or two and a half years of experience after obtaining the PG Diploma.
Medical Officer (Assistant Commandant)
- A recognized medical qualification in the allopathic system of medicines included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule (excluding licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications from Part-II of the third schedule must also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-Section (3) of Section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Permanent registration with any MCI/NMC/State Medical Council is required before appointment in any CAPFs & AR.
- Completion of compulsory rotating internship. Candidates undergoing internship are eligible to apply and appear for the interview, provided they complete their internship satisfactorily before appointment.
