LIC AAO / AE Recruitment 2025: Educational Qualification

  • AAO (Generalist): A Graduation (Bachelor’s) degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution in India, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
  • Assistant Engineer AE (Civil): A B.Tech/B.E. (Civil) from an AICTE-recognized Indian University/Institution. A minimum of three years of post-qualification working experience in the planning and execution of multi-storied building projects with all required infrastructure is mandatory.
  • Assistant Engineer AE (Electrical): A B.Tech/B.E. (Electrical) from an AICTE-recognized Indian University/Institution. A minimum of three years of post-qualification working experience in the planning and execution of multi-storied building projects with all required infrastructure is mandatory.
  • AAO (CA): A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Indian University/Institution and completion of the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) with articleship. The candidate must be an Associate member of ICAI. Membership number must be provided for verification.
  • AAO (CS): A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Indian University/Institution and be a Qualified Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
  • AAO (Actuarial): A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution. Candidates must have passed at least 6 papers of the examination conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India or the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK, as of August 1, 2025. Membership number must be provided for verification.
  • AAO (Insurance Specialist): A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution and a professional qualification in Life Insurance (Fellowship of the Insurance Institute of India (Life)). A minimum of 5 years of experience working in Life Insurance Companies regulated by IRDAI is required.
  • AAO (Legal): A Bachelor’s degree in Law from any University/College recognized by UGC with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent in the aggregate. For SC/ST and PwBD candidates, a minimum of 45% marks is required.
