Educational Qualification

Primary School Teacher (Post Code 1 to 4)

  • Eligibility: Candidates must have passed the Primary Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the MP Employees Selection Board, Bhopal, for the year 2020 or 2024, securing the prescribed qualifying score.
  • Educational Qualifications (as per Rule 8, Schedule-III of Bharti Niyam 2018):
    • Higher Secondary (12th) or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks AND a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or equivalent / Special Education Diploma.
    • OR Higher Secondary (12th) or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks AND a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (as per NCTE Regulation 2002).
    • OR Higher Secondary (12th) or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks AND a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
    • OR Graduation AND a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or equivalent.

Note: Reserved Categories (SC/ST, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and Divyangjan) are eligible for a 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks.

Primary School Teacher – Science (Post Code 5 to 10)

  • Eligibility: Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in Higher Secondary (12th) with a Science stream or equivalent. They must also possess a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / Special Education OR a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) with relevant subjects.

Note: Reserved Categories (SC/ST, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and Divyangjan) are eligible for a 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks.

Validity of Certificates: All academic and professional qualifications must be from a recognized institution. Additional essential documents issued by competent authorities will be considered valid only after proper verification and submission within the due date. Degrees/diplomas from recognized institutions (academic and professional) will be accepted. All required certificates issued by competent authorities recognized by the State Government will be validated upon verification and timely submission by the candidate.
