Eligibility Criteria (Strictly as per Official Notification)
- Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant/allied discipline + First Class in all preceding degrees.
- Candidates with Ph.D. directly after B.E./B.Tech. are eligible only if they have First Class in B.E./B.Tech.
- Experience, credit points, and other conditions: As per Schedule E of NIT Statutes (Gazette 21.07.2017 + Amendment 06.06.2023) and MoE clarification dated 16.04.2019.
- Upper Age Limit (relaxable in exceptional cases up to 60 years):
- Asst. Prof. Grade-II (Level 10): 35 years
- Asst. Prof. Grade-I (Level 12): 40 years
- Associate Professor: 45 years
- Professor: 50 years
