The National Testing Agency (NTA), on behalf of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), has announced the application process for the CSIR UGC NET Exam June 2024.

Important Dates

  • Application Start Date: May 1, 2024
  • Application Deadline: May 21, 2024
  • Fee Payment Last Date: May 22, 2024
  • Form Correction: May 25 – 27, 2024
  • Exam Dates: June 25 – 27, 2024
  • Admit Card Release: Available Soon
  • Result Declaration: Available Soon

Application Fee

  • General / EWS: ₹1,150
  • OBC: ₹600
  • SC / ST: ₹325

Payments can be made online via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or through offline fee payment methods. Details can be found on the official notification.

Age Limit (as of June 1, 2024)

  • JRF: Maximum 28 Years
  • Lectureship (LS) / Assistant Professor: No Age Limit

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess an M.Sc. or equivalent degree with 55% marks (for General/OBC) and 50% marks (for SC/ST and PH) to be eligible. Candidates with Integrated Courses, B.E/B.Tech/B.Pharma, and MBBS degrees are also eligible.

The CSIR UGC NET June 2024 exam

will be conducted in the following subjects:
