The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the NIFT Entrance Examination (NIFTEE), announced the advance city intimation slip on January 29, 2026. Candidates who successfully registered for the UG and PG programs (B.Des, B.F.Tech, M.Des, M.F.M, M.F.Tech, etc.) can now check their allotted exam city.
Important note: This city intimation slip is not the admit card. It only informs you about the city where your exam center will be located. The exact center address, shift details, and reporting time will appear on the admit card, expected to be released shortly (likely a few days before the exam).
The NIFT Stage-I entrance exam (including GAT – General Ability Test and CAT – Creative Ability Test where applicable) is scheduled for February 8, 2026 (Sunday). The exam will be held in over 100 cities across India in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for GAT and Paper Based Test (PBT) for CAT.
