The Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) has announced recruitment for various positions, including Diploma Trainee – (Electrical)/ (Civil), Junior Officer Trainee – (HR)/ (F&A), and Assistant Trainee (F&A). A total of 802 posts are available.

Educational Qualification

  • Diploma Trainee (DTE)
    • Candidates must possess a Three Years Diploma in the relevant discipline of engineering – Electrical / Electrical (Power) / Electrical and Electronics / Power Systems Engineering / Power Engineering (Electrical), from a recognized Technical Board/Institute with a minimum of 70% marks for General/ OBC (NCL)/ EWS candidates and pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD. Higher technical qualifications like B.Tech / BE / M.Tech / ME etc. with or without Diploma are not permitted.
  • Diploma Trainee (DTC)
    • Candidates must possess a Three Years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Technical Board/Institute with a minimum of 70% marks for General/ OBC (NCL)/ EWS candidates and pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD. Higher technical qualifications like B.Tech / BE / M.Tech / ME etc. with or without Diploma are not permitted.
  • Junior Officer Trainee (JOT) (HR)
    • Candidates must have a Graduate Regular Degree – BBA/ BBM/ BBS or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institute/ University with not less than 60% marks for General/ EWS/ OBC (NCL) category candidates. Candidates with Post Graduate Degrees/Diplomas or equivalent higher education qualifications are not eligible.
  • Junior Officer Trainee (JOT) (F&A)
    • Candidates must have Inter CA/ Inter CMA qualifications. Candidates with Post Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ CA/ CMA or equivalent higher education qualifications are not eligible.
  • Assistant Trainee (F&A)
    • Candidates must have a B.Com. with a minimum of 60% marks for General/ OBC (NCL)/ EWS candidates and pass marks for SC/ST/ PwBD. The qualification must be recognized in India and from a recognized university/ institution. Candidates with Post Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ CA/ CMA or equivalent higher education qualifications are not eligible.

  • Document Verification
  • Medical Examination
