Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria to apply for the Rajasthan PTET 2026, it is mandatory that you meet the eligibility criteria. Go through the listed points to check it you are eligible to apply for this entrance exam.
- BEd: You have pursued a bachelor’s degree in any subject from a university recognised by the University Grant Commission.
- BABEd: You have passed the Class 12 Exam from a school recognised by the RBSE/CBSE.
- BScBEd: Same as BABEd.
Note:
- The Rajasthan PTET 2026 is only for the Indian citizen, who are domicile of the Rajasthan.
- The minimum requirement in qualifying examination is only 50% score as aggregate; for reserved category candidates, it is only 45% score as aggregate.
- Candidates who are in the final year or semester of their Bachorer’s degree may apply for two-year BEd; and those who are going sit in the Intermediate exam in 2026, may sit in the four-year for BABEd/BScBEd.
Application Fee
In order to apply for the Rajasthan Pre-Teacher Education Test 2026, it is mandatory that you deposit the application fee. The payable amount for all candidates is 500 rupees, make sure you pay it by the due date set by the VMOU, Kota.
The application fee can be paid using the debit card, credit card, UPI or any other provided payment gateway. Without the payment of the application fee, you application form won’t be processed; so make sure you pay it on time.
Exam Pattern
The VMOU, Kota will conduct the Rajasthan PTET 2026 in offline mode using the OMR sheet. There will be a total number of 200 objective-type questions from four different subjects, refer to table below for the question distribution.

Each question carries a weightage of 3 marks and there is no provision of negative marking. To touch all MCQs, you will get time duration of 180 minutes, PwBD candidates will get extra timing of an hour. The medium of this entrance exam is English and Hindi.

- Login with your email address and password to access the application form dashboard.
