IDBI Bank has announced a recruitment drive for 650 Junior Assistant Manager (Grade ‘O’) positions through the Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) program for the 2025-26 session. The application process is open from March 1, 2025, to March 12, 2025.

Junior Assistant Manager (Grade ‘O’) – 650 Posts

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Proficiency in computers is expected, and knowledge of regional languages is preferred.

  • Age Limit: Applicants should be between 20 to 25 years old as of March 1, 2025, meaning they must have been born between March 2, 2000, and March 1, 2005 (inclusive). Age relaxations apply for reserved categories:

    • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years

    • SC/ST: 5 years

    • PWD: 10 years

    • Ex-Servicemen/Commissioned Officers: 5 years

    • Persons affected by 1984 riots: 5 years

Selection Process:

  1. Online Test: The objective-type test comprises four sections:

    • Logical Reasoning,

      Data Analysis & Interpretation: 60 questions

    • English Language: 40 questions

    • Quantitative Aptitude: 40 questions

    • General/Economy/Banking Awareness: 60 questions

    Each section has a specific time limit within the overall duration of 120 minutes. A penalty of 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

  2. Personal Interview: Candidates who qualify in the online test will be shortlisted for a personal interview, which carries 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks are 50% for general candidates and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.

Final selection will be based on a combined score, with 75% weightage given to the online test and 25% to the interview.

data-end="2070">Selected candidates will undergo a 1-year PGDBF program, which includes:

  • 6 months of classroom studies at the respective campus

  • 2 months of internship

  • 4 months of on-the-job training (OJT) at IDBI Bank’s branches/offices/centers

The program fee is ₹3,00,000 plus applicable GST, covering course fees, lodging, boarding, and other expenses.

Stipend and Salary:

  • During Training (6 months): ₹5,000 per month

  • During Internship (2 months): ₹15,000 per month

Upon successful completion of the program, candidates will be appointed as Junior Assistant Managers with a compensation (CTC) ranging between ₹6.14 lakh to ₹6.50 lakh per annum, depending on the job location.

Service Bond:

Candidates are required to sign a service bond agreeing to serve the bank for a minimum of 3 years. If a candidate leaves before completing this period, a penalty of ₹2,00,000 is payable to the bank.

Application Fee:

  • SC/ST/PWD candidates: ₹250 (Intimation Charges only)

  • All other candidates: ₹1,050 (Application Fee + Intimation Charges)
