The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced the recruitment for the position of Assistant Statistical Officer (ASO), filling a total of 64 vacancies. The application process for this opportunity has commenced.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

  • A Second Class Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Commerce.
  • Alternatively, a Master’s Degree in any of the above subjects with a one-year diploma in Statistics from a recognized Indian university.

In addition, candidates must meet one of the following computer qualifications:

  • “O” or Higher Level Certificate Course conducted by DOEACC under the Department of Electronics, Government of India.
  • Certificate Course on Computer Concepts by NIELIT, New Delhi.

    Programming Assistant (COPA) / Data Preparation and Computer Software (DPCS) Certificate organized under a National/State Council or Vocational Training Scheme.
  • Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Computer Science/Computer Application from a recognized Indian university or government-recognized institution.
  • Senior Secondary Certificate from a recognized Board of Secondary Education with Computer Science/Computer Application as one of the subjects.
  • Diploma in Computer Sciences & Engineering from a government-recognized polytechnic institution.
  • Rajasthan State Certificate Course in Information Technology (RSCIT) conducted by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota.

Candidates must also have working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture. For comprehensive details, please refer to the official notification.
