Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria to apply for the SET 2026 are made public for each course. Go through the listed points to check if you are eligible to apply for any course.
- You must be an Indian citizen and reside in any state or territory, and
- You have passed the Class 12 Exam from a government recognized school.
Notes:
- The minimum requirement in the qualifying exam is a 50% score as aggregate. If you belong to any reserved category you need only a 45% score as aggregate.
- Candidates who are going to participate in the Class 12 Exam in the year 2026 are also eligible to part in the SET 2026.
Application Fee
In order to apply for the Symbiosis Entrance Test, it is mandatory that you deposit the application fee. The amount you are required to deposit is 2,250 rupees, you can pay it using any of the provided payment gateway.
Exam Pattern
The Symbiosis Entrance Test 2026 will take place in CBT mode, in which there will be a total number of 60 questions from four different sections, whose details are available inside the table.

The question-type is objective, for each question, you will have four options, out of which one will be correct. Each question carries a weightage of 1 mark, and no mark is going to be deducted for the incorrect response.
To solve the paper, each individual will get a time duration of 60 minutes. Individuals who belong to the PwBD category will get an extra 20 minutes. The medium of this entrance exam is only English.
