NTA UGC NET/JRF December 2024 Exam Dates Announced

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the exam dates for the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) / Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) December 2024. The exam will be held from January 3, 2025, to January 16, 2025, in Phase I.

Important Dates

  • Notification Date: November 19, 2024
  • Application Start Date: November 19, 2024
  • Application Last Date: December 11, 2024
  • Fee Payment Last Date: December 12, 2024
  • Correction Window: December 13-14, 2024
  • Exam Date: January 3 – 16, 2025
  • Admit Card Release: Before the exam

Application Fee

  • General: ₹1150
  • EWS, OBC: ₹600
  • SC, BC, PH: ₹325

Fees can be paid via debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI, and other accepted methods.

Age Limit

The age limits for JRF and NET are different.

  • JRF: Maximum age of 31 years. Please use the Age Calculator to confirm eligibility.
  • NET: No age limit.

Exam Details

  • Exam Name: NTA UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) / Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) December 2024
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates with a postgraduate degree or appearing in their final year with a minimum aggregate of 55% from a recognized college/university are eligible. Four-year bachelor’s degree candidates may also be eligible. Refer to the official notification for the most accurate information.
