The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has officially announced the final selection result for the Computer Operator Grade-A posts under the 2023 recruitment drive.
After a long and competitive process that began in early 2024, the board has now concluded the entire selection cycle and released the final merit list on February 7, 2026.

- Total Posts: 930 (Computer Operator Grade-A)
- Final Selection: The board has filled all 930 vacancies across various categories.
- Category-wise Breakdown (approximate numbers based on adjustments & reservation rules):
- Unreserved (General): 218 candidates
- OBC: 468 candidates (including carry-forward/adjusted vacancies)
- SC: 234 candidates
- ST: 10 candidates
- Women Representation: 142 female candidates made it to the final list — a strong and encouraging sign of growing gender diversity in UP Police technical roles.
- Special Adjustment: Due to fewer eligible ST candidates, 6 SC category candidates were adjusted against ST vacancies as per rules.
