The notification for Engineering Service Examination 2025 was released by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission on 9 May. Under this exam, recruitment is to be done on the post of AE (Civil, Electro – Mechanical and Electrical) in the various departments of the state government, for which there are a total of 166 posts:

Eligibility Criteria:
To sit in this exam one is mandatory to meet the eligibility criteria, go through the listed points to check the details.
Educational Qualification:
- For the Civil stream under the PWD, PHE&WSD, UD, or ULB, one must have pursued a BE/BTech is Civil from an institution recognized by the AICTE.
- For the HPD, RWD or WSD, one must have completed B/BTech in Civil or Agriculture from an AICTE-recognized institution.
- For HPD or DoP, one must have pursued the BE/BTech in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic & Communication, or Computer.
Age Limit:
- The candidate must have turned 18 years old as of January 01, 2025.
- The upper age limit is 36 years for UR, 41 for APST as of cut-off date.
- The additional age relaxation is applicable for 5 years for Ex-SM, and 10 years for PwBD.

Application Fee
A candidate belonging to the Unreserved will have to deposit the application fee of 200 rupees, and the same for the Arunachal Pradesh Schedule Tribes category aspirants is 150 rupees. Make sure to pay the required amount by deadline using one of the provided payment gateway.
Selection Process
It consists of two stages: Recruitment Test and Written Exam and Viva Voce, the first one is
all set to be conducted on July 27, and the second stage is tentatively scheduled for 6 and 7 September. Candidates who will clear the RT, if conducted, will be called for the WE, which will be followed by the Viva Voce. The VV is going to be held in face-to-face mode, which will be 50 marks. On this day you have to carry all the required documents, original copy and two xerox copies of each.
Salary
A candidate who will be appointed as Assistant Engineer (Civil, Electrical and Electro – Mechanical) in the above mentioned department or organization of Arunachal Pradesh state government will get the basic salary of 56,100 rupees with annual increase as per rules, and additional benefits such as DA, HRA, TA, and others.

- Signature – On white paper with black ink (JPG, 40–50 KB).
- Passport-size Photo – Recent, color, white background (JPG, 40–100 KB).
- Degree Certificates & Mark Sheets h- Self-attested copies.
- Matriculation Certificate – Self-attested copy for proof of age.
- Pay the required fee and submit the application form to get a printout of the confirmation page.
