AWS APS 2024-25 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for recruitment of PRT, TGT and PGT in the Army Public Schools is available below in terms of educational qualification and age limit.

Educational Qualification:

• Primary Teacher:
  • One must have passed the Intermediate from a school recognized by CBSE, New, or any State Board.
  • The candidates must have completed a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) for four-year Bachelor’s of Elementary Education (BElEd).
• Trained Graduate Teacher:
  • One must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree from a university recognized by the UGC.
  • The candidate must have pursued a two-year Bachelor’s of Education (BEd), or four-year Bachelor’s of Science/Arts  – Bachelor’s of Education (BA/BSc-BEd) a.k.a. Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) or four-year Bachelor’s of Elementary Education (BElEd).
• PGT:
  • One must have pursued a Master’s degree from a university recognized by the UGC.
  • The candidate must have pursued a two-year BEd, or four-year BA/BSc.BEd (ITEP), four-year BElEd.

Age Limit:

• There is no upper or lower age to apply for the recruitment of PRT, TGT and PGT in the Army Public Schools.
