The Recruitment Recruitment Cell, Western Railway, Mumbai issued the notification for recruitment of Apprentice on September 23, 2024, and then window to submit the application form will be available for four weeks, upto to October 22, 2024. WR Mumbai Apprentice Recruitment 2024

Candidates who want to be appointed to various positions of Apprentice under the Western Railway, Mumbai, will be able to apply by the official website at https://rrc-wr.com/. In order to submit an application form, one will have to provide details, attach documents and make fee payment, if applicable.

Each individual who wants to join Western Railway, Mumbai under the Apprenticeship Program from the year 2024-25 must know the window to submit the application form is going to be available on the respective web-portal until October 22, so apply early to avoid the last minute rush.

WR Mumbai Apprentice Vacancy 2024

The number of slots for the Apprenticeship Program for the year 2024-25 is disclosed by the Western Railway, Mumbai. There are a total number of 5066 vacancies under various divisions, workshops and units. WR Mumbai Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2024

To apply for the Apprenticeship Program for year 2024-25 under the Western Railway, Mumbai, a candidate must have passed the 10th exam from a school recognised by CBSE, New Delhi; CISCE, New Delhi; or any board. Additionally, the individual must hold an ITI Certificate in the respective trade from an institution recognised by NCVT or SCVT.

Note: The age limit to apply for WR Mumbai Apprentice Program 2024-25 is 15 to 24 years, with a provision of upper age relaxation for OBC for 3 years and 5 years for SC/ST. 

WR Mumbai Apprentice Application Fee 2024

To apply for the Apprenticeship Program for year 2024-25 under the WR, Mumbai, a male candidate who belongs to Unreserved, Other Backward Class, or Economically Weaker Section will have to make payment of 100 rupees; and the females aspirants, and male individuals who belongs to Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Caste, or Person with Disability are exempted.

WR Mumbai Apprentice Selection Process 2024

The selection process for the Apprentice positions under the Western Railway, Mumbai, in various divisions, workshops and units, consist multiple stages, which are as follows:

• Shortlisting: Candidates who will apply for WR Mumbai Apprentice Program 2024-25 will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Matriculation and ITI with 50:50 weightage.
• Document Verification: Candidates who will be shortlisted on the merit list for Apprenticeship Program under the various divisions, workshops, and units, will be called for the DV, which is likely to take place within four weeks after the release of merit list.

WR Mumbai Apprentice Merit List 2024

The merit list for the WR Mumbai Apprentice Program 2024-25 will be released by the Railway Recruitment Cell most probably in November 2024. Candidates are hereby notified that it will be compiled on the basis of the qualifying exam performance, it will carry the Registration Number of those aspirants who will be eligible for DV. 

It is estimated that the Document Verification for the WR Mumbai Apprentice Program 2024-25 will be administered in December 2024. On this day, a candidate will have carry all required documents, which are as follows:

• Application form printout
• DV call letter
• 10th/12th mark sheets and certificates
• ITI certificate and mark sheets (if applicable)
• Birth certificate or 10th certificate for age proof
• Aadhaar card or any valid ID proof
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• EWS/PwD certificate (if applicable)
• Passport-size photographs
