The IUST, Awantipora has released the notification dates 19 April 2024 to recruit apprentices for the 2024-25 under their one-year apprenticeship training program.
According to the recruitment notification, the University invites applications for 106 vacancies categorized into technical and administrative apprenticeships, respectively.

Vacancy & Pay Details for the IUST Apprentice Recruitment 2024

Eligibility for IUST Apprentice Recruitment 2024
Interested candidates can check their eligibility for the IUST Apprentice Recruitment 2024 from the following eligibility criteria:

| Technical | The applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in the respective discipline, such as CS, IT, Library, Engineering, and so on. |
| Administrative | Any graduates other than B.Tech can apply for the administrative apprenticeship or Master’s degree holder except from the technical field. |
- Candidates who have passed their qualifying degree without any backlog in their course period are eligible to apply for the IUST 2024 Apprenticeship
- Candidates who have completed apprenticeship and internship programs after their graduation are not eligible to apply for the 2024 IUST Apprenticeship Program.
Selection Process of IUST Apprentice Recruitment 2024
The eligible candidates would be selected for the Apprenticeship on the following basis:
- The candidate’s selection will be based on their qualifying degree merits and the interview performance in the ratio of 85:15.
- Students who have basic knowledge of computers like (MS- office, etc) will get the preference in the recruitment.
Application fee for the IUST Apprentice Recruitment 2024
The eligible candidates need to pay a non-refundable fee of ₹200/- when applying for the 2024 IUST Apprentice program. The payment can be done online on the University portal for the IUST apprenticeship application.

Application procedure for IUST Apprentice Recruitment 2024
As mentioned earlier, eligible candidates must apply first on NATS and the University portal, then send the applications to the Dean’s office of IUST. Follow the steps to complete the IUST Apprentice Recruitment application online:
First Part:
- Go to the NATS portal at https://nats.education.gov.in/
- Navigate to the Student section of the portal and click on Student Register to register yourself on the portal through the required credentials if you haven’t registered yourself.
- Next, after registering, click on Student login and login through your Email address and password.
- Now, choose the Institute IUST and type “Pulwama” in the field of District.
- Next, enter all the required details in the application form such as your educational qualifications, etc.
- Submit all the details after reviewing it and take a printout of the application.
Second Part:
- Go to the University portal at https://recruitment.iust.ac.in/
- Scroll down to “Register” on the webpage and click on that.
- Next, register yourself on the portal to get the login credentials.
- Now, log in to the portal and access the application form for IUST apprenticeship 2024.
- Next, enter all the required details on the application form, and after reviewing submit it on the portal.
- Next, move to paying the application fee and complete the application form.
- Next, take a printout of the submitted application and the fee receipt of the paid application fee.
- Next, send the NATS application and University application with the fee receipt and the mentioned document copies to the following Dean Outreach:
