Indian Army Dental Corps Vacancy 2024

The number of vacancies for the post of Dental Surgeon is disclosed officially by the Indian Army Dental Corps for Short Service Commission. Indian Army Dental Corps Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates applying for the Short Service Commission in the Army Dental Corps for the post of Dental Surgeons may check the eligibility criteria from the below in terms of educational qualification, age limit, and physical standards.

Educational Qualification:

• One must possess a BDS or MDS degree from a college/university recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI).
• The candidate should have registered as a Dental Practitioner with any State Dental Council.
• Additionally, a minimum of 55% marks in the final year BDS or possession of an MDS degree is required.

Age Limit:

• A candidate’s age must not be below 45 years as of December 31, 2024, and there will be upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per government rules.

Physical Standards:

• Male applicants should have a minimum height of 157 cm, while those from Hill and Northeastern States can have a minimum height of 152 cm.
• Female candidates must have a minimum height of 152 cm, or 147 cm for those from specific regions

Indian Army Dental Corps Application Fee 2024

Candidates applying for the Short Service Commission in the Army Dental Corps for the post of Dental Surgeon are required to pay an online application processing fee (APF) of ₹200/- on or before June 05, 2024, it will be paid online towards the DGAFMS (APF Fund) along with the application.

Indian Army Dental Corps Selection Process 2024

Selection process for the recruitment of Dental Surgeon at Army Dental Corps consists of three stages, which are as follows.

• Screening based on NEET (MDS)-2024 scores
• Interview
• Medical Examination

Candidates who will apply will be called for Interview, after screening on the basis of MDS 2024 score, which will be followed by the Medical Examination.
