CG Advocate General Eligibility Criteria 2024

The eligibility criterias for recruitment of Stenographer (English), Driver or Peon in the Office of Advocate General, Chhattisgarh is available below in terms of educational qualification and age limit is available below.

Stenographer (English):

• Educational Qualification:
  • Intermediate from a school recognized by the State or Central board.
  • Passed the first-year exam of a graduate course in any subject from a UGC-recognized university.
  • One-year Diploma/Certificate in Data Entry Operator/ Programming from an institution recognised by the government.
• Age Limit:
  • A candidate must have turned 18 years as of July 01, 2024.
  • The upper age limit for UR, OBC, and SC/ST is 35, 38 and 40 years, respectively.

Driver:

• Educational Qualification:
  • Matriculation from a school recognised by State or Central board.
  • Must possess a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving licence.
• Age Limit:
  • One age shouldn’t be below 18 and above 35 years.
  • There is upper age relaxation for 3 and 5 years for OBC and SC/ST candidates, respectively.

Peon:

• Educational Qualification: Class 8 Exam from a school recognised by the CGBSE, Raipur.
• Age Limit: The individual must be between 18 and 35 years, and the upper age limit for OBC and SC/ST candidates is 38 and 40 years, respectively.

CG Advocate General Selection Process 2024

The selection process for recruitment of Stenographer (English), Driver or Peon in the Office of Advocate General, Chhattisgarh is different from one another. You may check the details regarding it from below.

• Stenographer (English): Candidates will have to appear in the shorthand skill test (60 wpm) and a computer typing test (5000 key depressions per hour).
• Driver: Individuals will be called for a driving test, in which they have to demonstrate their driving proficiency for light motor vehicles (LMV).
• Peon: Aspirants need to participate in the Skill Test, which they have to show their reading and writing skills in General Hindi and English.
