* **Regular Education Mode:**
* Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in their Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3 pattern) and/or Master’s Degree in Science, Social Science, Humanity, or Commerce.
* Alternatively, candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology with a specialization in Science and Mathematics must have secured at least 55% marks.
* Any other equivalent qualification as recognized by the university.
* **Shiksha Shastri Mode:**
* Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in their Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3 pattern) with Sanskrit as a main subject.
* Candidates with a Master’s Degree in Sanskrit or Acharya in traditional Sanskrit Shastra must have secured at least 50% marks.
* Any other equivalent qualification as recognized by the university.
* Candidates who have passed Shastri B.A. (including Sanskrit subject) with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university or examination department with a two-year course. Those with Acharya (First Year) or M.A. (Sanskrit) must also pass the equivalent bridge course for the first year. Marks from Acharya First Year or M.A. first year will not be considered for percentage determination.
