Educational Qualifications

To be eligible for these posts, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Teacher Eligibility Test (TET): Candidate must have passed the Primary Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by MP Employees Selection Board (MPESB), Bhopal, for the year 2020 or 2024, with a qualifying score as prescribed in the official notification.
  2. Academic and Professional Qualifications: In addition to the TET, candidates must possess the following qualifications as per Rule 8, Schedule-III of Bharti Niyam 2018:
    • For Primary School Teacher (Post Code 1-4):
      • Higher Secondary (12th) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks AND a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or equivalent / Special Education Diploma.
      • OR Higher Secondary (12th) or equivalent with minimum 45% marks AND a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (as per NCTE Regulation 2002).
      • OR Higher Secondary (12th) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks AND a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
      • OR Graduation AND a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or equivalent.
    • For Primary School Teacher – Science (Post Code 5-10):
      • Higher Secondary (12th) or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in the Science stream AND a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or Special Education OR a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) with the relevant subject.
  • Note: A 5% relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks is applicable for candidates belonging to the Reserved Categories (SC, ST, Other Backward Classes, and Divyangjan) of Madhya Pradesh.
  • All academic and professional qualifications must be obtained from institutions recognized by the appropriate authorities. Certificates and essential documents issued by competent authorities will be considered valid only after proper verification and submission within the specified timelines.
