Educational Qualification

For Science Subjects:

Candidates must have completed 10+2 Intermediate with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate, and specifically 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and English.
Alternatively, candidates holding a 3-Year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, Information Technology) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English in the diploma course.
Or, candidates with a 2-Year Vocational Course from a recognized board, including Non-Vocational subjects like Physics and Mathematics, having secured 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.

For Other Than Science Subjects:

Candidates must have completed 10+2 Intermediate with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.

Medical Standards and Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

Minimum Height:

- Candidates from North East/Hilly Areas: 147 cms

Chest: 77 cms with an expansion of 05 cms.
Weight: Must be proportionate to height and age.
Running:
- Male: 1.6 km in 07 minutes.
- Female: 1.6 km in 08 minutes.
Push-ups:
- Male: 10 in 01 minute.
