CTET February Online Form 2026: Educational Qualification

Primary Stage (Class I to V):

Eligibility requires Senior Secondary or its equivalent qualification with at least 50% (or 45% as per NCTE 2002 norms) marks. Candidates must have passed or be appearing in a diploma in Elementary Education, B.El.Ed (04 Years Course), Diploma in Education (Special Course, 02 Years), B.Ed (01 Year), or Diploma in Elementary Education (01 Year) to be eligible.

Secondary Stage (Class VI to VIII):

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 45% or 50% marks. Alternatively, having passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, Diploma in Education, B.El.Ed, B.Sc.Ed, B.A.Ed, or B.Ed program makes candidates eligible for this CTET examination.
