Educational Qualifications for Various Banking and Administrative Positions
This document outlines the essential educational qualifications required for a range of roles within banking and administrative sectors. Candidates are advised to review these requirements carefully to determine their eligibility.
Management Roles

Manager:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree with a specialization in Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics, achieving at least 55% marks from a university or institution established by law in India.
- Possession of a minimum ‘O’ Level or equivalent computer qualification.
- Candidates with a B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science/IT, BCA, or MCA, securing at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognized institution.
- A BBA/MBA in Banking, Finance, or HR from an institution accredited by UGC/AICTE.
- A full-time postgraduate degree in Banking, Finance, or HR.

Junior Manager:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree with a specialization in Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics, achieving at least 55% marks from a university or institution established by law in India.
- Possession of a minimum ‘O’ Level or equivalent computer qualification.
- Candidates with a B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science/IT, BCA, or MCA, securing at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognized institution.
- A BBA/MBA in Banking, Finance, or HR from an institution accredited by UGC/AICTE.
- A full-time PGDM in Banking/Finance/HR.

Assistant Manager (Computer):
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/Electronics & Communication, or BCA, with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognized university or institution.

Assistant Manager (General):
- Postgraduate degree in Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics with at least 55% marks, and a CCC or higher-level computer certificate from a recognized institution.
- Alternatively, an MBA/PGDM (full-time) from a university or institution recognized by UGC/AICTE in Banking/Finance, or a Chartered Accountant qualification.

Assistant Manager:
- Graduate degree, B.Tech (Computer / Electronic Communication), or a B.Tech degree from a recognized university in any discipline.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent or equivalent in a top cooperative society.
Clerical and Support Roles

Assistant/Cashier (Banking Assistant) / (Clerical Staff):
- Graduate degree with 55% marks from a recognized university/institute.
- A minimum CCC certificate in computer is mandatory.

Assistant/Cashier:
- Bachelor’s degree with 55% marks from a recognized university/institution.
- A CCC or higher-level certificate in computer operation issued by the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) or its equivalent is mandatory.

Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from any recognized university/institution.
- A Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy.
- An ‘O’ Level Diploma in Computer Operation from a Government-recognized institute.

Assistant Accountant:
- Bachelor of Commerce with 50% marks from a recognized University/Institute.
- A “CCC” issued by NIELIT or its affiliated institution, and an “O” level or equivalent certificate, are mandatory.

Assistant Accountant (Alternative):
- Bachelor of Commerce with 50% marks from a recognized University/Institute.
- A CCC, “O” Level, BCA, or equivalent certificate issued by NIELIT or its affiliates is mandatory.

Assistant Accountant (Further Alternative):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from a recognized University/Institute.
- A Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy from a Government-recognized University or Institute.
- An “O” Level Diploma in Computer Operation from a Government-recognized Institute is mandatory.

Accounts Clerk:
- B.Com from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks.
- General Knowledge of Computers is required.

Assistant/Stenographer (Option 1):
- Graduate degree from a recognized university/institute.
- Proficiency in Hindi and English Stenography and Typing on Computer: 80/30 words per minute and 80/40 words per minute, respectively.
- A CCC certificate or higher-level certificate in computer operation awarded by NIELIT or its affiliated institution is mandatory.

Assistant/Stenographer (Option 2):
- Graduate degree from a recognized university/institute.
- Proficiency in Hindi and English Stenography/Typing: 80/30 words per minute and 80/40 words per minute, respectively.
- Preference will be given to bilingual candidates.
- A minimum CCC certificate in computer is mandatory.

Stenographer (Option 1):
- Graduate degree from a recognized university/institute.
- Hindi Stenography speed: 80 words per minute.
- English Stenography speed: 80 words per minute.
- Hindi Computer Typing speed: 30 words per minute.
- English Computer Typing speed: 40 words per minute, or as prescribed by the State Government, whichever is higher.
- A CCC certificate or higher issued by a recognized institution or its equivalent is mandatory.

- Graduate degree from a recognized university/institute.
- A CCC certificate issued by NIELIT or its affiliates is mandatory.
- An “O” level or equivalent certificate is mandatory.

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institution or any degree recognized by the Government therefor.

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute or an equivalent degree recognized by the Government.

- Diploma in Civil Engineering or a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
