AP TET 2024 Notification

Candidates who want to be appointed with a TET certificate to be appointed as Teachers in government-aided institutions of Andhra Pradesh need to know that notification for AP TET 2024 for Paper I and II may be released officially by 27 February to 09  March  2024 and then a window to apply will be activated for four weeks.

How to apply for AP TET 2024?

Steps to apply for AP Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 for Paper I or II, an individual will have to go through the procedure below.

• Visit the official website of AP TET, which is accessible at https://aptet.apcfss.in/.

• Look for an option that reads ‘Paper I or II – Apply Online’ and tap on it.

• Enter basic and educational qualification details correctly in the required format and size.
• Pay the required amount, review all the details, and submit the application form.

AP TET 2024 Exam Date 

Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh has not yet confirmed any date for the commencement of the Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 for Paper I and II. If the notification is made public on 08 February 2024 then it may be held on 27 February to 09  March  2024. Candidates need to know that it will take place in CBT mode with an exam time duration of 02 hours and 30 minutes.

AP TET 2024 Educational Qualification 

Eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 for Paper I and II are available below, scroll down to get the detailed information.

• Paper I – A candidate must have passed the intermediate examination and, additionally he or she has pursued a two-years Diploma in Elementary Education. 
• Paper II – One must have pursued Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education or Bachelor’s of Education. 

Note: Students with a two-years Bachelor’s of Education (BEd) are not eligible to participate in the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 for Paper I.

AP TET 2024 Age Limit 

To participate in the AP Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 for Paper 1 or 2 an individual must have turned 18 years, as per notified by the Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh and there is no cap for the upper age limit of any category candidates.

AP TET 2024 Application Fee

In order to participate in the AP TET 2024 for Paper 1 or 2, one will have to pay 750 rupees using the provided payment gateway, whether he or she belongs to the General, Other Backward Class, Schedule Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Physically Handicapped or any other.

Paper I (Part A & B):

• Exam Mode: CBT
• Duration: 150 minutes
• Number of Papers: Paper 1 consists of two parts – Part A and Part B.
• Number of Questions: 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in each paper.
