Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- A Diploma in Sports Coaching in the relevant sport discipline from one of the following institutions:
- A National Sports Institute operated by the Government of India under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
- Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, Gwalior.
- Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports, Patiala.
- A Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Coaching (PGDSC) from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
- Any other equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
- Sports Achievements: Proven participation or achievement in the concerned sport discipline at a significant level, such as:
- Representing the country in Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, or Asian Games.
- Winning a medal in a Senior National Championship.
- Representing at least twice in a Junior National Championship or National Youth Championship.
- Participating at least three times in an Inter-University Championship, All India Police Games, or Inter-Railway Championship.
