BPSC TRE 4.0 Eligibility Criteria 2024
Eligibility criteria for the BPSC TRE 4.0 in terms of educational qualification and age limit is available below for Primary Teacher, Middle School Teacher, Secondary Teacher, and Higher Secondary Teacher.
- Educational Qualification:
- Primary Teacher: A candidate must have passed the Intermediate exam, and pursued a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or four-year Bachelor’s of Elementary Education.
- Middle School Teacher: A candidate must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree and possessed a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or two-year Bachelor’s of Education, or four-year Bachelor’s of Elementary Education
- Secondary Teacher: A candidate must have a bachelor’s degree, additionally he or she also holds two-year Bachelor’s of Education.
- Higher Secondary Teacher: A candidate must have pursued a Master’s degree, and he or she also possesses a two-year Bachelor’s of Education.
Note: Instead of two-year Bachelor’s of Education, a candidate who have pursued four-year ITEP (Integrated Teacher Education Programme) i.e. BA/BSc.BEd (Bachelor’s of Arts/Science & Bachelor’s of Education) are also eligible to apply.
- Age Limit:
- Primary & Middle Class Teacher: One’s age must not be below 18 and above 37 years.
- Secondary & Intermediate Teacher: A candidate must not be below 21 and above 40 years.
Note: For the Other Backward Class and Scheduled Tribes & Scheduled Tribes, there is an upper age relaxation for 3 and 5 years, respectively.
BPSC TRE 4.0 Application Fee 2024
To apply for Teacher Recruitment Examination 3.0 for the Primary, Middle Secondary, Secondary and Intermediate Teacher, a candidate will have to pay ₹750, if he or she belongs to General or Other Backward Class. A candidate who belongs to Schedule Caste, Scheduled Tribes or Person with Disability will have to pay only ₹200.

Tentative date for the Teacher Recruitment Examination 3.0 is announced officially by the Bihar Public Service Commission.
