The seat allotment for the first round is released by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka on July 12, 2024. Candidates who have participated in the web-based counselling can check the seat allocation result by visiting at https://comedk.org/.

Date for releasing the seat allotment result for Engineering courses for academic year 2024-25 is officially confirmed by the COMEDK. Candidates who have enrolled in the web-based counselling to get admission will be able to check that they have been allocated a seat to get admission or not by visiting the official website.

COMEKD held the Undergraduate Engineering Test (UGET) 2024 on May 12, and the result was announced officially on 24th of the same month. After that, registration for counselling began, which took place from release date of result to June 20, 2024. Document Verification took place on 22 June, then window for choice filling was available from 5 to 7 July 2024.

The mock seat allotment result was made public on July 09, and then a window for editing the preferences in choice filling form was available till July 11, 2024. Now, the second allotment result for the first round is released on July 12, 2024 under the candidate’s login after 03:00 pm, by accessing which aspirants will be able to check the seat allocation status.

• Go to the official website of COMEKD at https://comedk.org/.
• Locate and click on the section titled “Important Links” on the homepage.
• Within the “Important Links” section, find and click on the link labeled “Round 1 Seat Allotment Result.”
• You will be directed to a login page where you need to enter your credentials.
• In the “APPLICATION SEQ NO / USER ID” field, enter your User ID provided during registration.
• Next, enter your password in the designated “PASSWORD” field on the same page.
• Once your User ID and password are correctly entered, proceed to the next step.
• Click on the “Login” button located below the password field to check the seat allotment result.

What after the COMEDK Seat Allotment Result 2024?

After the seat allotment result is released, the window for decision-making, which includes options to freeze or float the allotted seat and fee payment, will be available until July 18, 2024, by 4:00 PM. During this period, candidates must confirm their choices and complete the necessary fee payments to secure their seats.

Those opting to freeze their seat confirm their acceptance and commit to joining the allotted college, while those who choose to float can wait for subsequent rounds in hopes of a better allotment. Candidates who will Accept & Freeze the allocated seat will require documents by 19 July 2024 at 12:00 noon for seat confirmation.
