- B.V.Sc & A.H Programme: Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the 10+2 (Intermediate) level with PCB group, including Biotechnology and English.

- B.Tech Biotechnology: Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the 10+2 (Intermediate) level with PCB group and English. Minimum 60% marks (General/OBC) and 55% (SC/ST) are required.
- Bachelor of Technology (Diary Technology): Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the 10+2 (Intermediate) level with PCB group and English. Minimum 60% marks (General/OBC) and 55% (SC/ST) are required.
- Bachelor of Fisheries Science: Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the 10+2 (Intermediate) level with PCB group and English. Minimum 60% marks (General/OBC) and 55% (SC/ST) are required.
- M.Sc (Biotechnology) / M.V.Sc (Biotechnology) / Ph.D (Biotechnology): Candidates with B.Sc (Zoology, Chemistry, Botany) / B.Sc (Biotechnology) / B.Tech in Biotech / M.V.Sc & AH/ B.Sc (Agriculture)/B.Sc (Fisheries) and minimum 60% marks (General/OBC) and 55% marks (SC/ST) are eligible.
- Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy & Livestock Extension in Institute of Para-Veterinary Sciences: Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the 10+2 (Intermediate) level with PCB group and English. Minimum 50% marks (General/OBC) and 45% marks (SC/ST) are required.
