GBU Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024
GBU invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professor at various University school departments.
According to the notification, GBU plans to recruit 15 eligible shortlisted candidates through this recruitment drive. Interested candidates must send the application form to the respective authority by 1 July 2024 (5:30 PM).
The applicants will be called for the interview based on their academic scores, teaching experience, and publications scores. The authority will decide the number of candidates to be called for the Assistant Professor post-interview.
The selected candidates must submit the medical examination report by the government hospital and the report must be police-verified before joining. On Joining, the shortlisted candidates will receive monthly entry-level pay of ₹57,700.

Initially, the appointment of the Assistant Professor posts will be made on a contract cum probation basis for two years, which can be extended to a maximum of one year.

GBU Assistant Professor Eligibility 2024
Candidates willing to apply for GBU’s latest recruitment drive for the Assistant Professor post can check their eligibility from the below eligibility criteria:
Academia Qualification:
- Candidates applying for Engineering or Technology departments must possess BE/ B.Tech/ BS and ME/ M.Tech/ MS or integrated M.Tech in the respective branch with a first-class grant or equivalent course from the recognized university or institution.
- Candidates applying for Management posts must have a first division in B.Com and M.Com and a Ph.D. in Banking and Finance/ Accounting and Taxation/ Business Administration and other related areas.
- Candidates applying for the School of Humanities and Social Sciences must have the concerned Master’s degree with at least 55% marks from an Indian University, or equivalent degree from a foreign University.
- The candidates must have cleared the NET or SLET/SET conducted by UGC or CSIR. The Ph.D degree holders are exempted from the NET/SLET/SET requirements for the GBU Assistant Professor post.
Teaching Experience:
- Candidates should have teaching experience, where each year will add up their score by 2.
Apart from the above, the candidates must have research publications published in UGC-listed journals or peer-reviewed journals. The awards given by the Government of India/ International organizations/ State governments will increase your marks for shortlisting for interview for the post.
