Gujarat High Court Stenographer Recruitment 2024

Gujarat High Court invites online applications from eligible candidates for the posts of English Stenographers (Grade II) in the Industrial & Labour Courts and English Stenographers (Grade II & III) in the Subordinate Courts of Gujarat. 

The Court has released notifications for filling up to 245 vacancies via competitive examinations, followed by skill tests, and interviews. The online application window is open from 6 May 2024 to 26 May 2024.

The competitive examinations will commence on 16 June 2024 and the candidates can expect the results in July 2024.

Eligibility for the OJAS Gujarat HC Stenographer Application 2024

Candidates willing to apply can check their eligibility for the Gujarat High Court’s latest recruitment drive for various posts of English Stenographer from the following eligibility criteria:

Age Limit:

• Candidates applying for the English Stenographer Grade-II should come under the age bracket of 21 years to 40 years of age.
• Candidates applying for English Stenographer Grade III should come under the age bracket of 21 years to 35 years of age.
• The age relaxation for women and other categories applied under the government of India regulations. 

Educational Qualification:

For English Stenographer Grade II 

• The applicant should be a graduate in any discipline or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or recognized by the government.
• The applicant must have a basic knowledge of computer operations.
• The applicant must possess an English shorthand speed of 120 w.p.m. 
• The applicant must have enough knowledge of Gujarati, English, and Hindi language. 

For English Stenographer Grade-III

• The education qualification for English Steno Grade III is the same as Grade II except for the requirement of Short-hand speed, which is 100 w.p.m for Grade III.

• Next, click on the “Request OTP” button to complete the OTP verification. 
• After OTP verification, read the declaration, and mark the “I Agree” box. 
• Now, on the same page fill out the captcha and re-verify the information. 
• Now that registration is completed, you will receive your registration number and password on your registered email ID and mobile number. 
• Next, click on the “Post Selection” tab to access the application form.

• After saving the preference, move to the application form and enter all the required details.
• Next, upload the scanned passport-size photograph and signature on the portal.
• Next, pay the application fee as per your preferred method. 
• After the successful payment, you will receive a confirmation message of the successful application.
