HAL Operator Recruitment 2024 

Candidates who are eligible and interested in being appointed as Operator for any discipline in the HAL need to know that the window to apply is going to be available from 18 to 30 June 2024. HAL Operator Eligibility Criteria 2024

Eligibility criteria to be appointed as Operator for any discipline in the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited is available inside the below in terms of educational qualification and age limit.

A candidate who belongs to General category most not exceed 28 years as on 25 May 2024, and there is upper age relaxation for 3 years for OBC-NCL, 5 years for SC/ST, 10 years for PwBD UR, 13 years PwBD OBC-NCL, 15 years for PwBD SC/ST.
Operator (Electrical), D6	Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute.
Operator (Electronics), D6	Diploma in Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized institute.
Operator (Mechanical), D6	Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute.
Operator (Fitter), C5	SSC/SSLC plus NTC (National Trade Certificate) or ITI (Industrial Training Institute) plus NAC (National Apprenticeship Certificate) or NCTVT (National Council for Vocational Training) in the Fitter Trade.

Selection process for the post of Operator for any discipline in the HAL’s  Aircraft Division, Nashik consists of two stages, which are Written Examination and Document Verification.

Written Examination:

  • The written exam is all set to held on 14 July 2024.
• Mode of Exam:
  • The written exam is conducted in offline mode (pen and paper mode).
• Duration:
  • The duration of the written test is 2 ½ hours.
• Type of Questions:
  • All questions are Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
• Sections and Question Distribution:
  • Part-I: General Awareness
    • Number of Questions: 20
  • Part-II: English & Reasoning
    • Number of Questions: 40
  • Part-III: Discipline-specific Questions
    • Number of Questions: 100
• Total Number of Questions:
  • There are 160 questions in total.
• Marking Scheme:
  • Each question carries 1 mark.
  • There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
• Medium of Exam:
  • The written exam is conducted in English.
• Qualifying Marks:
  • Candidates need to secure at least 50% marks in the written test to qualify.
  • There is a 10% relaxation in qualifying marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories.

Document Verification:

• Candidates who clear the written exam will be called for the Documentation, and the final selection list will be prepared on the basis of candidates’ performance in all stages of the selection process.
