The Jharkhand Academic Council, Ranchi has announced the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) 2024. The online application process commenced on July 23, 2024. Application Fee
- For Paper I or Paper II:
- General / OBC / EWS: Rs. 1,300/-
- SC / ST: Rs. 700/-
- For Both Papers (Junior / Primary):
- General / OBC: Rs. 1,500/-
- SC / ST: Rs. 800/-
Candidates can pay the examination fee through ITI College Prepaid Coupon, Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or Offline Mode.

Eligibility Criteria
For Primary Level:
- 10+2 Intermediate Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed).
- 10+2 Intermediate Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
- 10+2 Intermediate Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
- Intermediate 10+2 Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./DELED).
For Junior Level:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./ D.El.Ed.).
- Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed/L.T./Shiksha Shastri (Regular).
- Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed/L.T./Shiksha Shastri (Regular), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
- 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of B.Ed. (Special Education).
