JK Police Constable Recruitment 2024
The JKSSB invites online application forms from eligible candidates for the Constable posts as the JKSSB has received an indent from the J&K Police, Home Department. According to the notification, the JKSSB plans to fill 4002 vacant posts of Constable through this recruitment drive.
The authority will commence the submission of online application forms from 30 July 2024. The candidates should submit the online application form before the last date, 29 August 2024. The authority will conduct a written exam for shortlisting applicants.

JKSSB Police Constable Eligibility Criteria 2024

Age Limit:
- The minimum age of the applicants is 18 years as of 01 January 2024.
- The upper age limit is 28 years except for SPOs and Volunteer Gome Guards (40 years) and In-Service Police Personnel (30 years).
- The Ex-servicemen can deduct their service period from the actual age and if the outcome age does not exceed the upper age limit by 3 years they can apply for the post.
Domicile:
- Applicants should have the valid Domicile of the UT J&K issued by the competent authority.
Educational Qualification:
- Applicants’ minimum academic qualification is 10th pass except for Constable (Telecommunication), where authority requires 12th with science candidates.
