The University Grants Commission (UGC)-NET is a test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to determine eligibility for:
- Assistant Professor: To teach in Indian universities and colleges.
- Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor: Successful candidates are eligible for both JRF awards and Assistant Professorship.
Q2. How is UGC-NET conducted?
UGC-NET is conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
Q3. When is the UGC-NET exam held?
UGC-NET is held twice a year, in June and December.
Q4. Is there any change in the June 2024 exam date?
Yes, the UGC-NET June 2024 exam date has been rescheduled from June 16 to June 18, 2024.
