The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the release of the admit card for the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility  Test (NET) June 2025 examination. This national-level test is conducted for candidates aspiring for the positions of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges.

Applications for the NTA UGC NET June 2025 cycle were open from April 16, 2025, to May 12, 2025. The computer-based online examination is scheduled to be held from **June 25th to June 29th, 2025**.

### Application Fee

The application fee structure for UGC NET June 2025 is as follows:

*   **General / Unreserved:** ₹1150/-
*   **EWS / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer):** ₹600/-
*   **SC / ST / PwD (Person with Disability):** ₹325/-

*Payment can be made through various online modes, including Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, E Challan, E Wallet, etc.*

### Eligibility Criteria

#### Age Limit

The age requirements for the UGC NET June 2025 examination vary based on the chosen category:

*   **Junior Research Fellowship (JRF):** Maximum age limit is **31 years**.
*   **Assistant Professor (NET):** There is **No upper age limit** for the Assistant Professor position.

#### Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfill the following minimum educational requirements:

*   Hold a Master's Degree (Post Graduation) or be appearing in the final year/semester of a Master's program from a university recognized by UGC.
*   Secure at least 55% marks in aggregate in their Master's degree (50% marks for candidates belonging to OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, and Third Gender categories).
*   Candidates holding a 4-year Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Third Gender categories) as per UGC regulations are also eligible.

### Downloading Admit Card & Exam City Slip

Candidates can download their Exam City Slip (available from June 19, 2025) and Admit Card (available from June 23, 2025) by visiting the official NTA UGC NET website.

To access your slip/card, you will typically need to log in using your:

*   Date of Birth
*   Security Pin (as displayed on the login page)

Once logged in with the correct credentials, you will be able to view and download your Exam City Slip and Admit Card.

### Mode of Selection

The selection of candidates for both Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor is based on their performance in the computer-based Entrance Test conducted by NTA.
